Fresh off of two ambitious private commissions, Courtney Lipson returns to the gallery with a new body of wearable art. Lipson continues to experiment with patterns in her pioneering micro-mosaic technique and exploring new directions in shaping silver. This exhibition is inspired by feathers of all colors and shapes, rendered in Lipson’s exquisite micro-mosaic.
“This year,’ says Lipson, “I am celebrating my tenth year of creating jewelry. I am honoring the creative process itself, and the history and myth that begin to gather around jewelry the minute it leaves the workbench.”
