Join us for an artist talk by fine art and comics artist Jeffrey Veregge (Port Gamble S’Klallam) during the “Salish Sound Waves” exhibition! Jeffrey is a self-professed Salish Geek, using the traditional shapes of Southern Salish design system to render his favorite subjects: Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel and DC characters, Transformers, and more.
His work can be seen on the covers of dozens of Marvel and IDW Comics, and his own comics series will be on the way in 2018. He’ll also be working towards a major commission with a museum, and a major public artwork is on its way for the City of Seattle.
Admission to the talk is FREE.
