The Water’s Fine

The main figure is a killer whale and the humanoid figures represent mist from the blowhole, waves, and swirling water. This is a piece that has personal meaning in that I use our clan crest – a killer whale and seal – to represent myself in celebration, being both in and of the oceans of the cosmos.

I gave it further meaning by using both classical and contemporary formline style. The classical styled killer whale still swims in the currents of the contemporary water people.
