Young Artists: The Next Great GenerationThis Paddle commemorates a coming of age ceremony in which young men of the Puget Sound tribes seek spirit power by diving into the deep places in area rivers. It is believed that this power resides in the sacred places in rivers. Jason Gobin is a leading artist in the Tulalip community. He has worked closely with his cousin Shaun Peterson who is also Tulalip.
