Raven and the Cast of Characters Bid You A Fond Farewell As They Embark On Their Final VoyageReminiscent of a previous work, Leaving the Table which was inspired by Leonard Cohen’s 2016 track, “Leaving the Table.” The song is Cohen’s contemplation of mortality and his distancing from life’s struggles and complexities, to “blow out the flame” with a sense of peace and acceptance.
In the northern hemisphere, Raven is closely tied to winter and the winter solstice. Raven helps to reminds us that only by moving through darkness can we discover and bring forth the light.
