Petroglyph Basket (2006)

Marvin Oliver created vases in this series that often featured crows or petroglyphs, but rarely both, making this an especially exciting work.

 

Marvin’s glass basket is also pictured with a traditional basket created by an unknown Quinault weaver in the early 20th century (ca. 1910-1930).
