Monet I (1979)

This drawing portrays Monet in a yellow hat, in a wheelchair in his old age. Bartow drew this in 1979, the year he got sober and stopped burning all of his art. In 2014, after Rick’s health was in serious decline from congestive heart failure, Rick drew a large self portrait titled “Self in Monet’s Hat.”
