This glass feather is shown against black and white backdrops to illustrate how light changes the colors and quality of the glass. After Dan Friday hotsculpts each glass feather he then sandblasts each one, and rubs them in pumice to take off any edges. The artist then wraps each glass feather in Pendleton blanket strips, and hangs each from a hook made of goat wool.
