Published at Moon and Dog Press, with Master Printer Seiichi Hiroshima. South Beach, OR / Tokyo, Japan.   Frog was one of the first drypoints that Moon & Dog Press produced. Moon & Dog Press was comprised of Rick Bartow and Seiichi Hiroshima. Bartow met Hiroshima in 1994 on his first trip to Japan and started Moon & Dog Press in 1998 to produce drypoints and monotypes by Bartow. The frog in Japanese culture is a symbol of return. As a common tradition in Japan, after a pleasant visit, the host would give a parting gift with imagery of a frog on it to wish they would return again or have a safe trip to their next destination.
