This double-headed canoe illustrates the connection that Black Bear and Gray Wolf share in the deep forests of the North. Bound together and unable to alter the flow or direction of their journey, yet serene in their countenance, it is a reminder of how we are inextricably tied to our planet, our environment, and each other. We can choose to accept this and work in harmony–as these predators have done–or fight it and upend our boat.
