Hib Sabin: In My End Is My Beginning“Whenever I find myself in Dublin I make a beeline to the Archaeological Museum to commune with a small hammered gold boat from early Celtic times–with rows of spindly oars draped over its flanks and a cross-shaped mast ascending midships. This small gold boat is the inspiration for the boat in my sculpture.”
