Satuts Stsuhwum (Angela Marston) was born on Vancouver Island to parents Jane and David Marston. For over the last 20 years Angela has been studying Coast Salish design and creating unique works of art. She often incorporates traditional Coast Salish weaving techniques into her pieces. In 2017 the National Gallery of Canada displayed the Four Elements Healing Rattles and they were featured in the Canadian Biennial art book.
Her work was recently displayed in the weaving show at the Legacy art Gallery in Greater Victoria in Carrying our Ancestors. As a Coast Salish weaver Angela has studied traditional weaving techniques to create contemporary pieces.
In 2014 Angela graduated with a BA from Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo with a minor in Visual arts.
