“The tináa is was traditionally made out of copper, that historically was considered a precious metal. They represented one’s wealth, status, and prestige. I am amazed just thinking how they used to mine and process the copper, then shape it into tináas the shield shape. Full size tináas were much bigger than my pendants and earrings. These ones are a representation of the ones made long ago. ”
