Allie High: New Works“The Beaver was a delightful challenge. I wanted the design to be charming and portray an industrious animal. I passed several Beaver mounds when I drove through Yukon territory this summer. I chose a leafed limb not only to balance the design but I wanted to show that the Beaver was using a branch it had just gathered.”
